Best make up, foundation??!!!?

I'm looking for a good foundation. I'm 14, and most people say that when your young you should just use powder because its more natural. I have a bare minerals powder foundation that i do really like but it doesnt really cover up that much, and i dont think it looks that natural. My mom sells mary kay and i have a creme foundation from them i use that i like and think works better than the powder. I want to try a liquid foundation, but i dont know what to use. I kind of want to branch out of the mary kay and i dont know who has the best make up. I'm kind of between MAC and Make Up Forever. Whats your favorite??!! And lipsticks that you like? Your favorite brand?

I know this is a crazy dare, but it's for $100 and then some! Should I do it?

Okay, here's the deal. My best friend and I kinda have a rep for taking on all sorts of creative dares from friends. It used to be just for fun, and still is for the most part, but for this one there'll be actual money on the line. So here's how it'll go: a mutual friend of mine will handcuff the two of us together, probably my right hand to her left since I'm a leftie and she isn't. The cuffs will be double-locked to guard against accidental tightening. Both our friend and the two of us will hold onto a key. If we can last a week stuck together, we'll each win $100 and she'll have to be our slave for a week! :) If we fail, we'll have to be her slaves for a week, plus spend an extra day in the cuffs before actually being released. So really we only have to worry about getting to day 6 since we'll be past the point of no return by then anyway. But until the week is over, the cuffs cannot come off for any reason or we lose. That means we'll be doing everything together: eating, sleeping, you name it. So should we do it? Is it worth it? Our friend is being kinda smug about our chances, so it would be nice to do it just to prove her wrong!

Okay so i have this friend who is living with me for a while and everything has been fine but sometimes I feel like she is trying to make me feel like she is better than me. Then like the other day she asked me for help on how to upload a computer game, which I did but she needed a password. Even though she's not aggressive, her attitude is almost smug but she does it with this kind of blank stare. I only feel this way because she comes off that way with other people (gets jealous of their high grades etc). I only get mad when people boast about how well they did but I know she gets jealous. Another time we were talking and I told her how much studying I did and my method of studying which is talking things out and then she was like oh yea well I did all the chapter problems and talked so much my throat hurts. Then this morning our hot water tank pretty much stopped working and she couldn't get any hot water. I guess it was another thing I take for granted since she told my mom oh you see how much people take hot water for granted, since back at her apartment she doesn't have any hot water. Now today we took an exam together and she kept looking over at mine not to cheat but rather to see how much of it I had done. Am i just being paranoid, because then there are other times where she is really nice and i don't see it, but whenever it comes to school and our home lives it seems she has a different attitude.

Question about a Hampster?

Here recently for about a month I bought a cage for my hampster that has a wheel at the top of the cage that spins when they run it in. The wheel has a platform underneath it and there is this yellowish brown liquid that is on the platform. I keep my hampsters cage very clean all the time. I have a male applehead siamese cat and lately when he lays down somewhere, we find white stuff where he was laying. It's not like dandruff, it's more like a liquid I think. If you replace an older A/C compressor (approx 12-15 yrs old), do you have to replace the heating unit ?

Our A/C compressor is leaking freon and needs additional freon...not sure if you can put additional freon in the old compressor because of the new laws--the unit does take R22? If we have to replace the compressor (which is outside) do we have to replace the heating unit in our attic...the heating unit was replace about 5-7 years ago.

Haunted House..Do I Need Help?

It is very possible that there could be some type of activity from what you have described and it could be on the verge of getting worse. I say that because you have involved the dreaded Ouija board. It is not something you should bring to an already acrtivi location. It is like pouring gas on a fire. Things get worse and when you play with fire you can get burned. The ouija board can, at times, allow spirits into your surroundings and cause already existing activity to increase. I would remove this device from the location and hide it or burry it somewhere where no once can find it. If you have not already tried to investigate these occurrences on your own , I would recommend trying to do so and see if there is not something that has been over looked. Some times it is something quite simple that can explain such occurrences. Sometimes there is no reasonable explanation and this is when you can begin to consider it paranormal. Much of the time ghosts and spirits are just trying to let you know they are there and would not do you any harm but when there is a ouija board around, all bets are off. If this activity becomes more problematic and escalates, I would consider trying to contact a paranormal research group. They can help validate your claims as well as put you in contact with someone who can help rid these spirits from you home. Take care.

What does fresh blood in stool look like?

I know from the title this sounds like a silly question. But I have seen parts of my stool (solid stool, not diarhea) look red. Not the whole thing, not in one particular place, and I didn't see a pattern. The red portion wasn't any more liquid or solid than the rest of the stool. The water didn't change color to red. If I see jelly bean sized parts of my stool as pinkish/red should I assume that this is blood or food? I ate Sushi, a Spicy Italian sub at subway, an Apple, and a Fiber one bar today if that helps. Homemade NaOH battery?

Every summer i make my own soap for myself for the year, this year i ordered way too much Sodium Hydroxide and German pretzels are getting old. In my garage i found a working 350 watt DC to AC power inverter so i decided to use my extra NaOH as an electrolyte in a homemade battery to use with the inverter to get a couple working outlets if the power ever goes out. I realize this battery is going to have an epic number of cells to power this thing but i'm willing to give it a shot. Long story short i am asking if anyone has experience with something like this (using NaOH as electrolyte) and if so you could save me alot of research and experimentation if you could give me some data, ie which metals to use as anode/cathode or is copper and zinc from the old grade school potato batteries still optimal, what concentration of solution is optimal, what volume of liquid/distance between electrodes, optimal surface area of said electrodes, would i be better off with a series or parallel circuit to connect the cells, things like that. This may be my first time building a legit battery that makes usable amounts of power, but being a science major i am very familiar with the chemistry so no need to dumb down the nomenclature and DEFIANTLY keep the safety lectures on caustic solutions and electrical safety to yourself, I know my way around the stuff.

Kitchen sink backing up into pipe vent and spilling out?

When empty my dish water in the sink it flows back up into the straight pipe that i was told is a vent? It is completely ruined the boards under the sink. No other drain in my home is backing up or having issues. What should i do about my immature sister?

So my sister is 13 and she has required reading over the summer. hey, i have a fiesta 1.1 1993. i have had a service done to it about 6 months ago and got told my emissions was at 600 grams < i think thats the word for it. the maximum is 300 so its double the maximum. when i get out of the car after driving i smell alot of fuel. and if i rev my car a load of black liquid comes out of the exhaust. and my exhaust is very black at the tip of it. but there is loads of it and all of a sudden my battery light has came on. some times it stays on when my car is cut of and keys out. but my car goes flat over night. so the light might just be that my altinator has gone. the car did cut out on me when i came to the end of a road when my clutch is in. revs drop to 1000 rmp then goes up and down up then goes to 0 rpm. i pulled the acceleration tight so problems ok but must be a problem some where. but i dont no what it could be. thank you for reading. How well does animal repellents work?

Which ones work best? I want to repellent animals (roof rats or etc.) from getting into my attic, before I close the entry. I have had several pest control companies come in, but all tell me the same thing. I have a roof rat problem, but this thing make sounds with his mouth and he's loud. Problem with a strange beeping noise coming from the wall..?!?

We have an old TV aerial on the roof of our house that we've never used (we have a satellite dish). Recently we've been hearing a strange beeping noise (first off it beeped once a minute, now it's almost constantly!) coming from what sounds like the other side of the wall of our attic. I just got my wisdom teeth taken out yesterday. What other things should I do?

I've been drinking water(to stay hydrated so I won't pass out which has almost happened twice already), I've been playing my DS, getting on the internet and listening to music. I tried to eat bread yesterday, but I couldn't swallow it because I'm really swollen(my right side's the worse right now but the swelling's gone down because I took a nap with the ice on that side of my mouth). I can eat jello and drink milk from a spoon, but I prefer not to eat them. The dentist said I'll be bleeding(oozing) for a couple of days. I've been taking motrin(liquid) for the pain of the swelling. I can't open my mouth very much either.

4-5 week old kitten (female) peeing blood?

I rescued a (estimated) 4 week old female kitten. I have been giving it Hartz milk replacement and give it a tiny bit of Whiskas cat food twice a day (not the crunchy solid food but the wet solid food). We took it to the vet about a week ago and they gave it medicine to de-worm it but said that it was too young for shots. The kitten knows to use the litter box and does regularly. However every other day (or two) she will pee and it looks like gooey blood is coming out. When she gets this gooey blood coming out it isn't really a liquid and stays attached to her until I wipe it away. Also she starts peeing everywhere (except the litter box, which she knows to use) when the blood is there. After I wipe/pull away the blood (sometimes it doesn't come off if you just wipe) she attempts to pee and more comes out, and it practically blocks her from peeing. When this happens it normally lasts about an hour or two before it just returns to normal. Does anyone know whats going on with her? She hasn't been stepped on or injured in anyway so I don't really know whats happening.

My cat has a bad case of diarrhea.?

Hi, me and my roommate just got a kitten ( about 6-7 months and weighs about 5 pounds) from our work friend about 2 weeks ago. The day we got him we noticed that he was infested with fleas, he also had a bad case of diarrhea, we also noticed that he sneezes quite a bit. That day we got rid of the fleas but all of the other symptoms still exist. Since then he's still has diarrhea, his stools are very slimmy, wet and has a foul smell it's also a very light brown color, he has trouble holding it in till he gets to one spot of the litter box. We are unable to take him to the vet because we have been busy with finals and work. A couple of days ago a friend bought him a Liquid De-wormer which we just gave to him and now his diarrhea has worsened to the point where he can barely hold it before he gets to the litter box. Weird liquid coming out of my boobs?

They also have no respect for him. I also have noticed that they possess alcohol in their house, even though his Mother cannot legally have alcohol in the house, due to the fact that she goes to drug court. How to clean embedded dust from old attic?

I have an old attic with a wooden floorboard and everything up there is covered in 90 year old dust(the age of the house). I want to renovate it into my new art studio so I took all the clutter out of it but I can't seem to get rid of the embedded dust in the floorboards. The wood is very old and I'm afraid to wet it and make it rot so how can I clean it without damaging the surface and spreading the dirt around even more? I ha a terrible dream about me getting lots of phone calls when I was home alone. It was about where I was in the house and where my music (probably my favorite thing in the world) was. I washed it in the sink the next day and then soaked it with biological liquid for a night. So I have this friend, shes a complete and utter show off. Always talking herself and her accomplishments up. Always trying to make out that shes so busy because of her all her responsibilities at work and home. Always talking her Husband and children up. She causually mentions money all the time or goes on about the things they buy. These are just a few examples so I can get the point across of how she trys to make me feel jealous. It gets very competitive and I find that latly I cant help feeling competitive back. Like I secretly want her to fail to rub that smug smile off her face. my little puppy i got on thursday June 23rd was diagnosed with parvovirus on saturday June 25th. on friday june 24th my puppy was doing fine towards the evening she became depressed wouldn't walk or move made groaning noises when i picked her up, she wouldn't eat but she did drink water that we mixed with karo syrup. after she drank that she threw up clear liquid she did have diarrhea but it was not bloody or foul smelling. she has been hospitalized for 3 days and hooked up to IVs. she was improving yesterday morning and in the evening she got a tad bit worse, today she hasn't threw up and is looking more alive but still wont eat. ive been praying like hell she will survive. has anyone gone through this and have any success stories? I live in Fort Lauderdale, FL in the lowest income neighborhoods in Broward County, Dorsey Park Riverbend. I have a mortgage, which i'm upside down in, therefore I cannot get a loan to repair my home. I need a new roof and windows and central a/c installed. The house is over 47 years old and has had a new roof, but not since i purchased it 8 years ago. The windows are as old as the home. There are no windows/doors in the basement, and all the damageable items (TV) are out of reach from my one year old. Hi, I am a 21 year old female home from college and ever since I've been home, my younger (19 year old) brother, who is also home from college, has been extremely verbally abusive to me. I have no idea why he decided to start doing this; we had always had a normal 'sibling rivalry' but it has never been anywhere near this bad. Most of us don't but we DO and SHOULD explain the myths about nursing when people challenge us and or make us feel dirty by expecting us to nurse at home only or sexualizing bf. I assume that you've figured out that it's not your husband, as he's sweating horribly at night, leaving things sweaty and smelly in bed the next day. I honestly wouldn't know what to think, if it's just one one side and it's occurred in to different beds in different locations. The post above me is right about demonic smells, it's horrid, but ghosts can have smells as well, such as uncleanliness, sweat, sickness, perfume, "old person smell" (not being ugly here, not a kids person, I love the elderly), etc. It's possible you've got something following you and they like to stay in bed, I really can't think of anything else. We could say a great deal of humidity, but being localized in 2 different places just doesn't make sense. I personally haven't encountered this, but I've had things happen that I haven't heard anyone else have either. I understand not wanting to call the police with every incident, after a couple of times, it's best not to bother them. I would keep a journal of all the incidences in your house and contact paranormal investigators to come check things out.

I trained my nephew to not wet the bed by constantly waking him up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. I told him beforehand I was going to do this and that it was to get him to get into the habit of waking up if he had to pee. So I did this every night for about a month until he started getting up on his own to pee. Sure, it was an inconvenience for me in the short term, but not having to deal with those wet sheets and giving him confidence to do it on his own and get rid of his embarrassment in the long run was worth it.

The actual daughter had been locked in a trunk in the attic when her deaf brother stacked something on top of it during a game of hide and seek. The daughter was trapped there, the mother was looking for her, and the brother was trapped from guilt. I think there was another ghost, but I'm not sure. When the sitters try to leave, they notice that the chain on the driveway isn't closed even though they could have sworn they locked it. The mother sitter notices something in the ditch and goes to look. The girl asks what it is, but the mother says it's nothing. It's actually their car because they had been run off the road by a truck when they arrived. The psychic had told them that there are three kinds of ghosts: The ones that pass, the ones that don't know they're dead and the ones that choose to stay for some reason (I don't think that's an accurate quote). I loved the movie and was hoping someone could tell me what the title was?

This is really good. There are a few grammar mistakes, maybe just three or four, which is impressive. The story is well-written and pretty interesting, but it kind of seems rushed. Is this the very beginning, or are there more paragraphs? It doesn't really matter, I guess, since this is only a little bit and there might be more explaining done later. Where is moisture in my attic coming from?

I had a mildew issue in my attic which was remediated (sprayed, scrubbed, painted with some protectant paint, and dried out with a space heater). We didn't have any issues with mold growth in the the house but we obviously didnt want to leave it unchecked, and no problems ever since. This winter I poked my head into the attic and noticed a good amount of frost, not a real thick coating, but a decent coating on the flat boards and nails. Ive been trying to figure out where the moisture is coming from. Nothing leaks when it rains, I sealed up every type of spot where heat could be getting up there through ceiling fans and things like that. Recently during a rain storm I noticed some water looked as though is was going behind my gutters and dripping off from underneath the gutter. Out of curiousity I looked back up in the attic, and sure enough there was a small spot of mildew in the proximity of where the water was running behing the gutter outside. What are the chances that water getting behind the gutter and soaking the fascia board could be the cause of the moisture in the attic, and if so is there a simple way to fix this? How do you skirt the wedding gift issue without sounding smug?

We do not want gifts. Really. Guests can give what they want to give but we have no expectation of anything from them. We keep getting asked where we are registered, what things we want/need and I don't know how to say we just want them to come and celebrate with us without sounding so smug. Particularly, my fiance's mom mentions things people can do for us in lieu of gifts (photos, cleanup, etc;) but I do not feel I can ask for these things because we do not expect anything in the first place. That would be 34 feet total length if that fits your attic. layed out 'square' that would be 8.5 foot on a side, but shape is not critical and 6 x 11 rectangle will be just as good. where the ends come together is called the feed point. that will have a 120 ohm resistance. it is hard finding a balun of that exact size for connecting to the coax unless you wind your own. you can use a commercial 1:1 balun and then run about 7 feet of RG6 (75 ohm coax, like used to match twin antennas) to transform to regular 50 ohm coax like RG58 or miniRG8 that should get you close to a low swr.

Hydrocodone cold water extraction didn't work?

Okay so I had 12 vicodin and no longer had anymore jaw pain (had wisdom teeth pulled) so I decided to take advantage of what I had in front of me. Concidering that I didn't want to just down 6000mg of acetaminophen and severely damage my liver and only wanted the 5mg of hydrocodone per pill I looked online and found the cold water extraction technique. I crushed the 12 pills and put them in about 2 oz of warm water and stirred it for about 2 minutes. After wards I put it in the fridge for about 30 minutes. Took the liquid and strained it through 2 coffee filters into a clean cup. That of which I drank and threw away the remains. Dissapointaly I still haven't felt one thing and its been two hours, which by now I know for a fact that I wont feel anything. Why didn't this work? It was 60mg of hydrocodone and I haven't taken more than 2 of these pills at a time. The water looked like a slight milky haze and tasted very sour, made me have a discusted look on my face. My nose is now started to itch severely so could it be that I have an extremely high tolerance?

I have a friend from school (we are both 45) who always seems to have to have "something over you". For example, she recently added an ex I lived with 20 years ago as a Facebook friend. She never met him, spoke to him or had anything to do with him. She didn't tell me she added him but when I rang her annoyed about it, she puts on this kind of pompous smug tone and made up a story about him being a friend of a friend (he isn't). My alienware M17x is sweating?

i know this sounds weird but theres these 4 or 5 small lines that appear to be water or some liquid on my screen. they are about a centimeter long each so its not a big deal at all but im very curious. it catches my attention and i wipe about once a month. it doesnt get worse if i dont wipe it off. any ideas? i know alienwares have liquid cooling and my laptop has has a 3.4 gigahertz processor so it must have some cooling system

I don't like my mother, is that normal?

I wouldn't say hate, but I really don't like my mother. She makes me sick to my stomach, and I am embarrassed that she is my mother. I am a grown man, but can't get over the negative feelings which enhance with time. My father died when I was young and you would think that my well being would be her biggest concern...,,,wrong. She was remarried within two years and devoted all her time worrying about my step-dad, and her position amongst the inner circle of her pathetic so called friends. She has called me a loser, accused me of molesting neighbor, use to listen to my phone calls, conversations and read notes out of sheer boredom. She threw a plastic bat at me and hit me in front of dozens of people, has slapped me in the face causing a bloody nose because I was blunt and told her she wasn't happy with herself. She used money that was left from my dad for me, as her personal bank. She stopped receiving after remarrying, yet ended up working less hours and NEVER went food shopping. She was always smug and made asinine, condescending comments. She made vest efforts to stand in my way after wanting to leave a miserable job and get an education, with money left for me, which she spent and had to take out a personal loan. She knows she was an awful parent, and I tried talking to her, but she gets defensive, and tries to get sympathy from her bad upbringing, lame excuse. I know it's not fair to live in the past, but during such formidable years, she did nothing right, and tried to hold me down.

If anyone's naive it's you. I actually have had a very enjoyable pregnancy. No sickness, no depression, no major mood swings. It's been wonderful. And I'm not having a child just so that the human race can continue. I'm having a child because it's something that my husband and I wanted, something else to cement our bond and bring us closer together. It truly amazes me how ignorant some people are.

My teacher has a strange habit of calling me "Miss (surname)" instead of Lilly. It's not a sign of respect - he says it with a smug tone and a sly smile. I have no idea why he does this. He doesn't do it to anyone else.

Does lazy parents=lazy kids?

My mother was really lazy when I was growing up. Now I hate to bash her because she was a good mom but honestly just lazy. She kept the main part of our house clean (kitchen and living room) but hid everything else in our basement and attic. It wasn't even that she was a hoarder because she didn't care about any of this stuff. She just never took the time to sort it and clean up. Eventually it was such a huge mess it took a whole month to clean when we moved out. The thing I remember most about it was I never had clean clothes in my closet or drawers. My mom washed clothes but never put them away. I had to dig through a pile and find clothes that matched everyday. Now that I am an adult with children of my own I struggle with the same things. I feel I am more motivated than my mother but at the same time I feel I am not doing enough. How will this effect my kids? will they always have messy houses too?

I don't do "promises". It's just a word, but comes with a lot of pressure. I do, however, try to always keep my word and live up to what I've said I would do...Whether or not something is prefaced with "I promise" doesn't mean that your kids are going to have any more faith in you if you don't keep your word on the small things.

Exterminator advice please?

I'm in MI and in my room (attic room) I'm having a big struggle with spiders. Like GODZILLA sized nasty spiders. I had the same problem last summer but coped with it because they were so little and they all came out of the same closet. Recently I was out on my front porch (that has an awning over it, the awning leads into the attic which is connected to my room) And there had to have been over a dozen of the critters all over the porch. I know it's silly and I'm so one of those girls that HATE spiders but they are quite big, yellow and translucent. Also there have been some tan ones with the big huge shells on the butt hanging around too. So I wanted to ask if anyone knew anything about exterminators. I tried to contact companies but they all want my address and I'd have to consult with my parents first I just want my room, my room only sprayed but I'm not sure if that is ok to ask, and I'm trying to figure out the price as I don't want to go overboard as it will be cold again in a few months

Covergirl Natureluxe liquid foundation?

The coverage is fantastic and it made my skin look fresh and dewy, however, if you have oily skin I recommend avoiding this foundation as it is moisturizing so it makes your skin more oily and causes the makeup to slip and slide. But if you really want to use it, you apply it either using a makeup sponge and dabbing it on, using a foundation brush and apply it in criss-cross motions to avoid streaking, or using clean fingers to rub it in. I think Wladimir Klitschko will demolish david haye, and to be honest i will enjoy watching it, i think he is too smug , he opens his mouth too much, and his boxing isnt really up to scratch. Not much of a champ in my eyes. All of his fights have been rigged, especially the Valuev fight. Reckon he`ll win by knock out as he said ? XD , what a turnip. He obviously hasnt been fcuked in the face with a brick before, he winds Klitschko up too much, its gonna bite him on the a.r.se. Every mouthy muppet gets a good old slap back down to earth.

as hard as it is... you're going to have to get along with the guy. if you really like this girl as much as you say you do. you have to be honest with her and tell her that you don't feel comfortable around this guy however. you love her so you will try to make things work. it doesn't mean you have to be best friends with him too. just try to limit your contact with him. let your girlfriend know you will try to make a conscious effort to be civil with him but she needs to realize that there IS a problem and you don't want her to have friends. look- the bottom line is, if you think this girl is the right person for you- you have to make nice. there is a very good chance he's going to be best friends with her for a long time. talk to the guy! see if you have any similar interests. if your girlfriends sees that your trying to make it work she might be more open to making more time for JUST the two of you... good luck!

Will a glow stick that doesn't glow anymore glow under a black light?

Hi, I'm getting a black light for my birthday and I'm thinking about opening a bunch of glow sticks and spraying the liquid on the walls, before I do it, I want to know if the liquid will damage the walls, and if the liquid will still glow after a while, so if even after a few months I can turn on the black light and it will still glow, or if at least a glow stick will glow long after it is used. Also what kind of stuff will glow long term under a black light, like household items? I want to make my room look all cool under a black light, but if stuff like that won't work I'll just go with a lava lamp or a plasma ball or a laser shooter or something, thanks.

i wouldnt get a liquid from mac, just because ive heard its not very good for your skin and most people dont like it! I would try like chanel or clinique for foundation! For powder though their mineralized skinfinish naturals are good!

I feel she already knows but Iike this guy and he likes me back and weve slowly been getting to know eachother and were both acting very casual about it.
