Is there a name for this behaviour?

I have a friend from school (we are both 45) who always seems to have to have "something over you". For example, she recently added an ex I lived with 20 years ago as a Facebook friend. She never met him, spoke to him or had anything to do with him. She didn't tell me she added him but when I rang her annoyed about it, she puts on this kind of pompous smug tone and made up a story about him being a friend of a friend (he isn't). Shes always doing things like this, is there some kind of disorder which explains this?
