Would you stay friends with someoen who makes you jealous?

So I have this friend, shes a complete and utter show off. Always talking herself and her accomplishments up. Always trying to make out that shes so busy because of her all her responsibilities at work and home. Always talking her Husband and children up. She causually mentions money all the time or goes on about the things they buy. These are just a few examples so I can get the point across of how she trys to make me feel jealous. It gets very competitive and I find that latly I cant help feeling competitive back. Like I secretly want her to fail to rub that smug smile off her face. I dont want to feel jealous and nasty like this, Im a nice person (honestly). But I cant help feeling like this when shes talking her life up. So latley I have been thinking maybe I should distance myself from her. Hang out with other people who are interested in other things. People who will be happy for me when I suceed and people who I can be happy for in return rather then just trying to suttley out do each other all the time. Is that the best option to take in this situation? should I call this friendship quits? what would YOU do?
