No, you don't have to tell them where these items are as you could be incriminating yourself if you are indeed guilty. It's likely that police officers would search an attic as that is more easily found; however, if you have a safe hidden behind a false wall and they are unable to locate it, then you have no obligation to inform them of it's existence.
